Service Learning Venture(SLV) :D

Dear 09S42,

The following is a namelist of all the groups:)

Group 1
Task: to research on the needs of the animals(refering to stray animals) in Singapore and discuss on the feasibility of the project. Contact relevant organisations.
People involved: Gwen, Jia Cheng, Caitlyn, Shi Yuan, Choon Hian, Timothy, You Yuan, Ting Ting.

Group 2
Task: to research on the needs of ill children, and the feasibility of the project. Contact hospitals first. Suggestions we have so far: 1)help with academic work 2) Cheer them up (workshops like origami workshops, performances, fund raising, gifts, animal therapy.
People involved: Eileen, Xu Ya, Zhao Jin, Asyraf, Shona, Zhongji, Pu Yuan, Yuki.

Group 3
Task: to research on the needs of the elderly in Singapore. Suggestions we have so far: 1) help in cleaning of the houses in which they live in 2) Help out in an elders' home(need to contact organisation first)
People involved: Clarice, Brendan, Ka Yat, Cedric, Jia Tian, Wei Cong, Umar, Wayne, Gongbo.

Please discuss your tasks quickly and be prepared for a presentation to the class(if we have time) on your group's choice. We will then decide as a class which idea to go with. If we dont have time for a presentation, we will see how then(: But please do get together as a group on thursday to research and discuss so that we can have a final idea on friday 6 March.
